About the Position
KEMITRAAN – Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia is seeking a qualified Consultant – Data Analysis and Completion Report to support the final phase of the Adaptation Fund (AF) Pekalongan Program.
The AF Pekalongan Program, implemented from July 2021 to July 2026 in collaboration with the Pekalongan City Government and supported by the Adaptation Fund, aims to strengthen climate resilience and community capacity in one of the areas most severely affected by climate change in the coastal region of Central Java. The program focuses, among others, on alternative livelihoods, institutional strengthening, community economic groups, supporting infrastructure, and accountable monitoring and evaluation.
The Consultant will support the program's final phase by strengthening data collection and analysis, supporting documentation and reporting of community empowerment activities, and contributing to the preparation of the program completion report. The position will work under the direction and responsibility of the MEL Officer and/or AF Pekalongan Team Leader and coordinate closely with the PMU, Community Development team, Infrastructure team, and relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for:
- Collecting program activity data from the AF Pekalongan program team.
- Ensuring that program data is valid, accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
- Inputting, managing, and archiving program data in the project database.
- Maintaining the security and confidentiality of program data.
- Compiling data on program activities, outputs, outcomes, and performance indicators.
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis to assess program progress and dynamics.
- Identifying trends, challenges, risks, and opportunities for improvement based on field data.
- Preparing concise data analysis summaries.
- Preparing data-based reviews of program progress, impacts, and lessons learned.
- Supporting the preparation of the program completion report.
- Presenting data through narratives, tables, graphs, and simple infographics.
- Coordinating with the program team to meet data and reporting requirements.
- Supporting data requirements from partners, government, and donors within the scope of the assignment.
- Participating in program evaluation, reflection, and data-based planning meetings.
- Preparing monthly activity timesheets and periodic reports.
- Ensuring that data required for program documentation and reporting is compiled, analyzed, updated, and verified.
Qualifications
ducation
- Minimum D3/S1 in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development, Information Systems, Informatics, or a relevant field.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in data processing, monitoring and evaluation, or social research is an advantage.
- Experience in preparing completion reports.
- Experience working with program data and reporting is preferred.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in processing data using Excel/Spreadsheet or basic data-processing software.
- Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Understanding of basic monitoring and evaluation principles.
- Strong attention to detail and good data administration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with program teams and government institutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to undertake field mobility.
