LEGAL AND

Judicial Reform

Strong legal and judicial institutions are crucial in ensuring the law operates effectively and efficiently. Institutions refer not only to organizations but also to the rules of the game that govern the relationships between elements of society within a country in various aspects of life, including economic, political, and social matters, as well as legislation.

Legal certainty is often linked to economic development, as it enables the creation of a safe and profitable business ecosystem for both employers and workers. Therefore, fair and impartial legal implementation requires support from law enforcement officials and a transparent and accountable judicial system.

KEMITRAAN consistently oversees the strengthening of legal and judicial reforms, as part of the process of supporting a more professional and fair legal and judicial system, free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN), fulfilling human rights, and zero tolerance for conflicts of interest within the state. This includes regulatory reform, increasing access to justice, strengthening legal and judicial institutions, and ensuring that the law is applied equally and impartially.
