M Jusuf Wibisana

M. Jusuf Wibisana is a senior accounting and audit professional with more than 35 years of experience in strengthening financial governance in Indonesia. He spent most of his career as a partner at a public accounting firm within the PwC global network, where he led audit work for large corporations, financial institutions, and international non-profit organizations.

In addition to his professional work, Jusuf has been closely involved in the development of accounting standards in Indonesia. He served as Chairman of the Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards Board and the Sharia Accounting Standards Board, each for two terms. He also contributed at the international level through his role with the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI), and continues to serve as a member of the National Sharia Council.

His experience also includes roles in the public sector, including as a member of the Audit Board of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). He has been involved in several committees related to the development of Islamic finance at Bank Indonesia and OJK, reflecting his long-standing engagement in this area.

With expertise in auditing, financial reporting, and corporate finance, and an academic background from Universitas Gadjah Mada and Macquarie University, Jusuf brings practical experience and perspective to ongoing efforts to strengthen transparency and accountability in Indonesia’s governance system.
