OVERVIEW
Climate change is now a global emergency issue that threatens humanity. A number of studies have shown a significant increase in global temperature this century. The increase in temperature has caused massive damage on earth and resulted in many natural disasters. Countries around the world, including Indonesia, have agreed to jointly reduce the impact of climate change. One way is to carry out climate change adaptation programs in affected areas in Indonesia.
To support this agreement, KEMITRAAN received support from the Adaptation Fund (AF), an international funding agency for developing countries in order to take action on climate change adaptation.
KEMITRAAN is trusted as the National Implementing Entity (NIE) to channel and manage funds and supervise local organizations or called the Executing Entity (EE). These local organizations will later implement the climate change adaptation program (hereinafter referred to as the Adaptation Fund Program) in Indonesia.
