Context
KEMITRAAN is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to lead and strengthen the organization’s financial management, compliance, reporting, and internal control systems. This position plays a key role in ensuring financial sustainability, operational efficiency, donor compliance, and high-quality financial stewardship across organizational and project operations.
The Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance and Operations Director and collaborate with leadership teams, program units, and project management teams to oversee budgeting, forecasting, accounting, treasury, taxation, financial reporting, audits, and continuous system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
The Finance Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring processes
- Strengthening internal controls, compliance systems, and financial governance
- Managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and audit readiness
- Overseeing treasury functions, bank reconciliations, and tax administration
- Ensuring compliance with donor regulations and financial requirements
- Supporting financial automation, systems improvement, and data integrity
- Providing financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management
- Managing grant financial oversight and partner financial capacity strengthening
- Developing and updating finance policies, SOPs, and operational procedures
- Delivering financial training and promoting organizational financial awareness
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in non-profit financial management with supervisory responsibilities
- Experience with budgeting, donor compliance, audits, and accounting systems
- Exposure to reputable Public Accounting Firms (KAP) is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; certified accountant preferred
- Master’s degree is an advantage
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken
