Dewi Rizki is an alumnus of the Chevening scholarship program who earned her Master's degree in Resources Management from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, England. She has 29 years of experience in natural resource management, environment, forestry, and climate change. Dewi completed her bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Forestry, Institut Pembangunan Bogor majoring in Forest Management Planning. Her involvement in REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) began in 2008 when she joined GRM and Fauna and Flora International as National REDD+ Coordinator. Then, Dewi served as President Director of PT Wana Hijau Nusantara, an Ecosystem Restoration IUPHHK established by FFI - UK with Macquarie Bank (Australia) to manage REDD+ Demonstration Activities in West Kalimantan and Papua. She shared her love for GIS and Remote Sensing when she served as CEGIS (The Center of Excellence for GIS) Coordinator for Asia-Pacific in 1997 – 2003 and participated in initiating the establishment of the National Spatial Information and Data (IDSN) and the National Geospatial Information System (SIGNAS) with Bakosurtanal, Ministry of Public Works & Housing (Kemen PUPR), Bappenas, Ministry of Forestry (KLHK), Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan), Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (Kemen KKP) and other related parties. In 2015, Dewi joined KEMITRAAN as Program Director for the Strategic and Sustainable Governance sector.
