Project Context |
Aceh, which is home to 470,000 hectares of oil palm plantations, faces the challenge of maintaining its unique landscape and maintaining its competitiveness in the global market. The government has formulated the Sustainable Palm Oil (KSB) Roadmap 2023-2045 in accordance with the Aceh Governor's Regulation Number 9 of 2024 concerning the Aceh Sustainable Oil Palm Development Roadmap and the KSB Regional Action Plan 2023-2026 in accordance with the Governor's Regulation 17 of 2024 concerning the Regional Action Plan for Sustainable Oil Palm Plantations. The KSB roadmap focuses on increasing palm oil production, capacity building, institutional development, database development, financing, and new business models within the concession area. The roadmap also emphasizes the protection of areas with High Conservation Value (HCV) and High Carbon Stocks (HCS). The Program Management Unit (PMU) or Program Implementation Unit (UPP) was established based on the Decree of the Governor of Aceh Number 500.8/658/2024, which aims to effectively implement and operationalize the KSB roadmap. The success of the KSB roadmap depends on the operationalization of the PMU, which requires professionals and support from organizations with local context and government knowledge to ensure that each designed initiative and program can be implemented effectively and in accordance with the strategic objectives that have been set. In order to support the operationalization, it was agreed on the job description, criteria, and recruitment mechanism of the PMU KSB Aceh implementation team. |
Functions / Key Results Expected |
1. Design, develop, and implement an effective Monitoring and Evaluation system for a project or program by identifying key performance indicators and measurably measuring the achievement of objectives.coordinate regular and accurate data collection and analyze data to evaluate program outcomes and impact. 2. Compile periodic reports detailing achievements, challenges, and recommendations and ensure reports are in line with the needs of internal and external stakeholders. 3. Manage information systems to store, access, and share data efficiently by ensuring the security and accuracy of data in the system. 4. Plan and execute a thorough evaluation of the program or project and identify learnings and recommendations for improvement. 5. Communicate regularly and engage stakeholders with stakeholders to understand their needs regarding M&E information and learning. 6. Report the activities carried out by the implementation team periodically (3 months) to the Technical Commission to verify the performance of the implementation team leader. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recruitment Qualifications Education: Minimum bachelor's degree (S1) includes: Statistics, Project Management, Social Sciences, International Development, or other related fields. Experience: 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, and Learning (MERL) or related positions, with a focus on project or program management, especially in the agribusiness, sustainable development, or environmental sectors. 2. Experience in performance measurement, indicators, targets, and reporting. 3. Experience in designing and implementing effective and data-driven M&E systems. 4. Experience in data collection, data analysis, and periodic report preparation in accordance with international standards. |
