Rendubutowe<\/a>, the name of a village in South Aesesa Subdistrict, Nagekeo<\/a> Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, has recently been discussed.\nThis is due to the local indigenous community’s<\/a> resistance to the construction of the Mbay Lambo Dam<\/a>.\nThe largest dam project in NTT<\/a> with a value of Rp 1.4 trillion uses 496.14 hectares of community land.\nNot only empty land.\nThere are gardens, longevity plants, houses, graves, and places where traditional ceremonies have been carried out for generations. <\/p>\n\n

Under pressure and intimidation, residents surrendered their land to the government.\nNow, their days are filled with anxiety and uncertainty.\nThey have lost many things.\nMany hopes were expressed regarding the injustices experienced by the community, such as their customary land being valued very cheaply by the government. <\/p>\n\n
