Program Director For Sustainable Governance Community
Hasbi Berliani has been involved in community empowerment since 1992. He started working in German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) for community empowerment in poverty alleviation programs and was later involved in the Multistakeholder Forestry Programme, a collaboration between the Department for International Development UK and the Government of Indonesia. He holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the Universitas Nasional, Jakarta.
He has attended various training sessions at national and international level. These include Executive Forest Policy Training organized by FAO and the SAARC Forestry Center in Bhutan, and Tailor-Made Training on Advocacy, Organizational Development, and Result Based Management, from NESO-VU University in Amsterdam. Since 2007 Hasbi joined KEMITRAAN as Program Manager with his speciality in program management, managing multi-stakeholder processes, natural resource management policies, and community empowerment. He became Program Director for Sustainable Governance Community for KEMITRAAN in 2018.
